Looking to create some cool five star reviews on a law firm’s search results?
First, and most importantly, make sure the review you want to feature is legitimately from a current client and not made up. If Google emailed you for proof, could you supply a client email, survey result, etc.?
After that, we’ll need to do a little copying/pasting. We’ve added the complete review rich snippet below. You would need to gather and replace the following fields: name, title, and full review.
<div class="page_review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"> <div class="page_review_by" itemprop="author" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Person"> <p class="text-small">By: <span itemprop="name">Eric Roberts</span></p> </div> <div class="page_review_by" itemprop="itemReviewed" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Attorney"> <p class="text-small">Title: <span itemprop="name">The team was super awesome to deal with and could communicate easily.</span></p> </div> <div class="page_review_review"> <p class="text-small"><span itemprop="description">The team was super awesome to deal with and could communicate easily. Any questions I had were answered very thoroughly and quick, seemed like they had everything settled by the time I got there. They could not have done anything better I am so pleased with my outcome and would choose them again over any others.</span></p> </div> <div itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating" style="margin-left:20px; margin-bottom: 20px;"><strong>Rating:</strong><span style="color: #ffcc00;">★★★★★</span> <meta itemprop="worstRating" content="1"><span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> / <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> stars</div> </div>
Now, you just need to implement this on your website. After you replace those fields with your own reviews, simply paste this code near the bottom of any given inner webpage. (Google doesn’t seem to love these review snippets for a homepage search results.)
After implementation, you can check out your work by heading over to Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool and insert your URL. If you set it up properly, you’ll see a result similar to what is below.
And now we wait. We usually see the review stars and snippet show up in 3-4 days. Below is an example of the power you’ll get on a Google search results page.
